Carolina Industrial Pressure Cleaning

Sandblasting & Media Blasting Services

Mobile abrasive blasting that strips rust, coatings, and buildup from steel, equipment, and structures, with the right media for every surface. Serving North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia 24 hours a day.

Professional Sandblasting for Industrial & Commercial Work

Carolina Industrial provides sandblasting for industrial and commercial work. Crews arrive with professional blasting equipment, contain the work area, and leave a clean, properly profiled surface ready for coating, painting, or service.

Sandblasting, also called abrasive blasting or media blasting, uses compressed air to drive abrasive media against a surface, cutting through rust, paint, mill scale, and contamination far faster than grinding or chemical stripping. It is the industry-standard first step before industrial painting, and often the only practical way to restore heavily corroded steel and equipment.

We perform blasting at our location or yours. Our mobile blasting rigs bring the full operation to your plant, yard, or job site anywhere in the Carolinas and Georgia.

What We Blast

  • Structural steel, beams, and fabrications
  • Heavy equipment, buckets, and attachments
  • Trailers, truck frames, and fleet components
  • Tanks, piping, and process equipment
  • Concrete surfaces needing profile or coating removal
  • Machinery and parts needing rust or scale removal
  • Welds and fabrication prep for coating systems

The Right Media for Every Surface

Media is selected to match the surface and finish requirements:

  • Crushed glass and mineral abrasives, aggressive cutting for rust and thick coatings on steel
  • Coal slag, economical structural steel blasting with a strong anchor profile
  • Garnet, fast cutting with low dust for demanding coating specs
  • Glass bead for bright, satin finishing on metal parts without dimensional change
  • Soda blasting, gentle removal on substrates that must not be etched
  • Dry ice blasting, zero-media cleaning when grit is unacceptable (see our dry ice service)

We assess the substrate, the contamination, and what happens to the surface next, then recommend the media and profile for the longest-lasting result.

Surface Preparation to Coating-Ready Standards

Most blasting failures are really preparation failures. Coatings applied over poorly profiled or contaminated steel fail years early, which is why serious coating work starts with blasting to a specified standard. Our crews prepare surfaces to recognized SSPC/NACE profiles, from brush-off to near-white metal, so your coating system performs the way its manufacturer intended. If your project includes recoating, our industrial painting and sealant team can complete the full system.

Mobile Sandblasting Across NC, SC & Georgia

Our blasting operations are fully mobile: compressors, pots, media, containment, and crew arrive together. We work in active plants, on outdoor structures, in fleet yards, and on shutdown schedules, including nights and weekends. From Charlotte, the Triad, and Raleigh to the South Carolina Upstate and metro Atlanta, if it needs blasting, we can be there.
